Sunset Designs is based in the beautiful border counties of Herefordshire and Powys in the United Kingdom. With over 40 years experience of precision photo-engraving for the manufacture of personalised products in metal, stone and glass, we are ideally placed to produce a unique gift, award or memorial for you. Our engraved items have been used in a variety of indoor and outdoor applications such as military memorials, crematoria and graveyard markers, pet memorials, sundials, commemorative plaques and professional business nameplates.

Most of our competitors these days use laser engraving which barely marks the surface and is particularly unsuitable for sustained outdoor exposure. Our process uses a combination of computer aided design to generate the artwork, and selective hand engraving, working to a much greater depth than can ever be achieved by laser. The result has a rich, warm, finish which will enhance the plaque or memorial and be a delight to the recipient.
