Example Inscriptions and Wording

The amount of words on your item is determined by the space available and the size of the lettering. The examples below will give you an idea of the possibilities. Inscriptions look better if they have room to "breathe" and for legibility it is often better to think in terms of "less is more." We are happy to advise you if you have particular elements that you wish to incorporate into your design.

Creating inscriptions for a memorial can be a hard especially in times of grief. We offer the following short inscriptions as examples for your consideration. However, there are many possibilities such as excerpts from poetry and prose to phrases and quotations closely associated with your loved one.

Until the day breaks

Gone from our home, but not from our hearts

Time passes, memories stay - loved and remembered, every day
